Botanize a part of this 3.6-mile loop trail near Morris, Connecticut. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 20 min to complete.
From the trailhead at the intersection of Routes 61 and 63, you will find an intricate network of pristine wooded trails that wrap around shallow ponds and showcase glacial formations. Many of the trails connect to form walkable loops, such as the Heron Pond (HP), Teal Pond (T), and Fawn Pond (F) Loops. More information and trail maps can be found at:

Directions and Parking: The trailhead with access to The Plunge Pool trail is located at 300 South Plains Road, Litchfield, at the junction of Route 61 (County Rd) and Route 63 (S Plains Rd). Parking for 6-8 cars is available in a small lot and on grassy areas on both sides of Route 63 at the trailhead. There is additional parking available 3/10 of a mile up Route 63 on the left at another White Memorial trailhead, from which people could carpool if necessary. You can bring a lunch to eat at picnic tables at the White Memorial Center, a 10-minute drive from the trailhead.
