The CBS and Yale University Herbaria are housed within the Division of Botany at the Yale Peabody Museum. These collections together contain hundreds of thousands of specimens that help to form the basis of our knowledge of species and plant communities of Connecticut and beyond. This field trip will consist of a tour of these collections and a brief instructional presentation about the collection and preparation of herbarium specimens.
